I need help with my savannah monitor?

i just bought a Savannah monitor Saturday and she wont eat drink nothing she just lye's on the rock under the heat lamp she is a baby she is 3 inches but do anyone know what i can do to make her eat or want her to eat my brother said she will come around and eat sooner or later but i just don't want her to starve and i bought a bearded dragon and shes fine so can someone tell me what i should do?
