Can i go from using a lye perm to using a no lye perm?

ive always used no lye perms up until about 4 months ago when i started using lye perms. now my mom bought me no lye perms and i want to know if i can use it. will it damage my hair or make it fall out? and has anyone else had this problem? and how has it worked out for you? thx ahead of time.
